The 2013 Q2 Hotel Program Promotions: Hilton, Hyatt, Starwood
We summarize the second quarter promotions for hotel programs Hilton HHonors, Hyatt Gold Passport and Starwood Preferred Guest. As usual, I have updated the details in the Hotel Promotions Page.
With late spring to early summer a generally heavy travel season already, no hotel is particularly aiming to beat out the competition with amazing promotions this quarter. Regardless, it’s worth knowing what’s being offered and registering for all of them to not miss out any valuable hotel loyalty points!

I love your blogs and look forward to reading them every morning. I would like to hear your comment on my situation w/American Exp. SPG. I signed up for the SPG Pref. Cr Card in July 2013 and receive 10k bonus right away. Yesterday I called CSR to find out why I am not getting credit for the remaining bonus of 20k as expected. I have so far spent 16k and my aaount show 26k point plus. CSR Cindy and her supervisor said that that month they offer only 10k . I don’t think I ever saw any of the adv. said 10k . All of them offer 25 or 30k and promise to give the full bonus after 5k spent. Are these people dishonest or were they trying to jerk me around. What do you think?
Somsak
When a customer service call seems to not work out, we always say hang up and call again. You may have gotten a confused representative. I haven’t had any similar issues with the American Express SPG card and have always received the miles and points that were owed to me. This particular CS rep may just not know all the offers, but you should at least get an explanation on why the full 30k points haven’t posted.
