60 American AAdvantage Miles per Dollar at Magazines.com
It’s gift giving season and the online shopping portals are bringing out the miles deals. Magazines.com is currently offering 60 miles per dollar for shopping through the American Airlines AAdvantage shopping portal. This offer is going to last through November 30 so there are not too many days left.
To take advantage of the offer (pun intended), you’ll need to visit the American Airlines shopping portal, log in with your AAdvantage account and navigate to Magazines.com. Pay with any credit card and your points should post, hopefully within a few weeks.
There is also an additional bonus for spending $75, $150 or $250 cumulatively through Dec 2, 2013. You will earn:
- 750 extra miles for spending $75.
- 1500 extra miles for spending $150.
- 2500 extra miles for spending $250.
This does not need to be for a single purchase and will count cumulatively. It also can be for other purchases and not just Magazines.com.
For magazines.com, the terms and conditions state that only new subscriptions are eligible. This means that they do not intend to give points for gift cards. You should also be careful that many of the magazines have automatic renewal unless you take action to not renew. That said, if you were thinking of signing up for a few magazines, this can be a good time to do so. They can help keep you company on the flights you’ll earn with your miles!

I saw that yesterday and almost signed up for a few. Then I read the reviews ad saw how many people have had trouble with magazines.com and thought better of it. Also many reviews that spoke well, but too much negative feedback for me since you have to sign up for auto renewal and give your cc number.
Yes, you do have to make sure to cancel the auto renewal, as I said. That really is a bit of a hassle here.
