Because I don’t always get to cover every piece of news that hits the miles universe, I am going to start doing a Saturday news round-up of news from the week so no one misses the most important news!
- US Airways and American Airlines have moved forward a step in their merger. They have introduced reciprocal miles earning in each other’s programs. Most excitingly, American Airlines can now be used to book US Airways award flights and vice versa. - Registration for Hyatt’s “Endless Possibilities” first quarter promotion is now live. I previously posted an analysis of the Hyatt “Endless Possibilities” Promotion Jan 15 — April 30,2014.
- As of January 7, Hyatt has implemented a new award chart that has 7 Categories. I covered the announcement in November: Hyatt Gold Passport Announces Award Changes and went over the category changes.
