Saturday Morning Miles News: 75,000 AA miles, IHG Rewards Points Breaks, Hilton Promotion, United Devaluation

Hope everyone’s weekend is off to a nice start! Let’s catch up on the news items this week:

75,000 American Airlines Miles

Via View from the Wing, the Citi Executive/AAdvantage World Elite MasterCard is suddenly offering  a seemingly targetted 75,000 American Airlines miles plus $100 statement credit after spending $7,500 within 3 months. It carries a $450 annual fee, unfortunately, which is quite hefty. Though it does offer 10,000 American AAdvantage Elite Qualifying miles after spending. There is no landing page with details of the offer so keep that in mind.

Hilton HHonors Weekend Rewards Promotion

Registration has opened for the Hilton HHonors promotion “Weekend Rewards” that runs from Feb 1, 2014 to April 30, 2014. This one offers 1,000 bonus points for every night that you stay regardless of the day of the week, and an additional 5,000 bonus points for every weekend stay of two nights or more. MommyPoints has the details on the promotion.

IHG Rewards Point Breaks List

IHG Rewards has launched a preview list for the Points Break list, which will officially be available on Monday. Once the list appears, hotels will be bookable through IHG Rewards Points Breaks Page. Each hotel on the list costs 5,000 points a night, which you can purchase for $35 using the IHG Rewards Cash and Points trick, which I wrote about previously.
