Prague and Vienna Summer Trip: Video of a Suite at Park Hyatt Vienna
On my trip to Prague and Vienna, I spent five nights in one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever been to. I am going to be writing a full review of every detail of the hotel that impressed me so much, but for now here is a video of the suite that I stayed in.
I, of course, used points to pay for the room, but the suite itself would cost $1280 a night. For a full discussion of how I managed to book the suite, you can read: Booking a $6400 Five Night Stay at the Park Hyatt Vienna.
On to the video… enjoy!

Video of a Suite at Park Hyatt Vienna
I will try to stay there when I am in Vienna next year.
In that suite that is.
Wow, simply wow!!
Nice, but dizzying video.
Very nice suite. Did the room come with invisible violinists and a few invisible butlers? I could use some of those at my house :)
I stayed at the Hilton Vienna in January (right next to the main train station) which had a great lounge, but your room is *way* better :)
Haha, that was my sister sneaking around helping with the doors/windows :)
huh? We just returned from the Andaz Maui and our suite had electric shades. Watching your video I was impressed with the electric drapes. I’m glad you clarified it was your sister. It would have been so disappointing and puzzling to discover manual drapes on arrival…. ;)
No, no, it was electric drapes, of course! She was just the one who pressed the buttons and who opened the doors to the living room. :)
This video is awesome. My Wife and I have booked 4 nights in a suite at the Park Hyatt Vienna this Christmas. Can’t wait to try it out. What do you think the likelihood of getting a similar suite to the one you are staying in?
Also, we will be in Paris and hope to stay at the Vendome, was wondering if I could PM you about getting enough points to stay there through sign up bonuses?
@Joel, you and your wife should sign up for the Chase Hyatt card, the Chase Sapphire Preferred, and a Chase Ink Card :)
Hey Grant, Thanks for the follow up. We actually both have the Chase Hyatt card and when I called in for reservations at the Park Hyatt Vienna, the gentleman on the phone asked me if I would like to stay in suite and booked me into one for 4 nights.
We are both looking at getting the Chase Sapphire Preferred which would give us 90000 UR points if we did the authorized user deal. Doesn’t quite get us enough points for 4 nights in Paris. I was wondering if once I get those points if I should call up hyatt and see if they will allow me to change over my reservations at Vienna to points and still keep the suite, and then use the four free nights from the hyatt card to book the Vendome for 4 nights.
I would totally get the ink card as I am an artist and have a small business, but i have no idea on how to make the spend requirement on it, I am gonna be pushing it with make the 6000 spend with the two chase sapphires.
I actually specifically booked my suite on a Point and Cash stay by using a Diamond suite upgrade. If you similarly book a suite with one of these methods, yours will likely be completely similar. However, their regular rooms are very nice, though not the same as the suites. You can definitely email me about which cards to get – milesprofessor at gmail.
Thanks! I will be emailing you about which cards to get. We are not yet Diamond, but I am looking into getting it through the Ritz Carlton Card and then doing a status match.
