Delta Fare Deal: Newark to Honolulu For $573
I follow The Flight Deal and they just posted an excellent fare to Hawaii from Newark. Living in New York, I know tickets to Hawaii are always expensive and, apparently, this is the first time in almost 12 months that tickets to Hawaii have been available for under $600.
For certain dates through May 2015, there are tickets from Newark to Honolulu for $573 including all taxes and this is valid for Monday-Thursday departures. You do have to connect in Atlanta, which is slightly inconvenient, but if a trip to Honolulu works with your travel plans, it could be work taking advantage of.

I personally haven’t been to Oahu, but I did visit Maui twice and Kauai once. I really do love the Hawaiian islands and can’t wait to go back. Here’s my trip report of my travels there last December:

No comparison. Hawaii is a definite winner in that duel, in my eyes :)
I will do my Far East tour in a year or two…….but been to Hawaii 5 times and never been disappointed………always wondered why it gets dissed for the Far East tropics?
I love Hawaii too but it is almost always more expensive than Phuket or Bali.
